AI Backend Engineer

Easyship is revolutionizing logistics for eCommerce. As an AI Backend Engineer, you will build backend services that integrate LLMs, task-based AI agents, and smart workflows to assist in decision-making across our logistics platform. You will work with a team of engineers, data scientists, and product teams to push the boundaries of automation and user experience in eCommerce logistics.

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development experience in Python
• At least 2+ years of experience in building LLM based AI solutions
• Strong understanding of Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django)
• Experience working with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, etc.) and integrating them into applications
• Solid experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL), Docker, and Git workflows
• Ability to design scalable and modular systems for AI-driven applications
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
