EHS Manager

The EHS Manager provides leadership to the Site in environmental, health, safety, security, and facilities management, directing EHS activities, establishing objectives and targets, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline or equivalent.
• Advanced degree (Master’s level or beyond recommended).
• Professional certification (Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, or country equivalent where available).
• Extensive experience in one or more of the applied areas and proven experience working in a business or manufacturing setting.
• Expert knowledge of industry, country and local environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Working knowledge of cross-functional EHS disciplines
• Understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes
• Ability to speak English and other languages preferred depending on specific position.
• Ability to demonstrate managerial courage (e.g., managing varied interests representing potential conflicts) Effective oral, written and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional team-building skills and demonstrated ability to lead through influence at all levels inside and outside Company
• Strong organizational skills including ability to manage large number of disparate projects and to track projects through completion
