Job Description
The EHS Technician provides technical support and actively participates in all Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices and procedures, including corporate and local EHS initiatives, federal and local regulations, data interpretation, and corrective actions for the EHS function.
Requirements
- Actively participates in EHS practices and procedures, 8D, MESH, and ISO 14001.
- Assists the EHS Manager in implementing changes and revisions to EHS/MESH/ISO 14001 programs to achieve short-term and long-term goals set by the company.
- Conducts plant safety inspections (GEMBA Walks, 5S Program, internal MESH audits, and any other assigned).
- Ensures regulatory compliance and completes relevant documentation, example: manifests, ADS reports, etc...
