Fabrication - Machine Operator

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a Fabrication - Machine Operator. The position involves fabricating parts from steel, aluminum, and cast metals according to specifications in blueprints. The hourly rate is $18.00 per hour. Please note that salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Greenwood, SC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Experience as a machine operator or a graduate of a machine certificate program.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication including experience with standard punch and bend tooling and processes.
• Experience reading blueprints, manufacturing diagrams or drawings, or operating instructions.
• Experience with measuring devices (i.e. tape measure and calipers)
• Experience with Eaton systems including DMM and AS-400.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within team environment.
