Lead Analyst - International Tax Strategy

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is seeking a Lead Analyst - International Tax Strategy to support the Director - International Tax Strategy and Tax Managers - International Tax Strategy by coordinating Tax-Treasury initiatives, assisting with special tax projects, and supporting the Global Tax Policy function.

Requirements

• Support the Tax-Treasury function, including: Assisting in the analysis of US and international tax laws, coordinating intercompany lending/borrowing arrangements, and ensuring electronic project files and internal tax resource databases are updated.
• Assist with special planning and strategy projects, including legal entity rationalization initiatives.
• Analyze and research US and international tax laws to identify tax opportunities and risks for tax projects and tax policy proposals.
• Prepare memoranda, spreadsheets, and presentations for discussions of strategic tax projects and tax policy proposals with management.
• Coordinate tax projects with internal tax and cross-functional resources located within and outside the US.
• Assist with communications to senior management of newly proposed and enacted tax laws worldwide.
• Assist with the company’s compliance with new tax laws resulting from the implementation of OECD, UN, EU, and other global tax policy initiatives.
• Coordinate and communicate with external tax advisors.
• Organize and maintain electronic project files and internal tax resource database.
• Maintain a detailed task list to ensure all projects are completed timely and with the highest quality standards.
