Manufacturing Engineering Intern

The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will be responsible for creating, updating, and revising manufacturing work instructions, working with manufacturing engineers, and conducting time studies to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an engineering discipline at an accredited institution (college or university)
• Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA or higher
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
• Ability to absorb knowledge and build a technical understanding of a variety of manufacturing processes
• Ability to develop and apply fundamental understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Methodologies at site
• Ability to identify wastes and opportunities for cost saving improvements
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment; to communicate articulately and professionally across many organizational levels and functions
