Metering Welder- 2nd Shift

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Metering Welder- 2nd Shift. The core hours are 2:30pm - 11:00pm. The Welder will be responsible for welding assemblies and components using welding equipment, interpreting drawings and shop orders to perform welding operations accurately and efficiently, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• A minimum of one year of weld operations, to include MIG, TIG of stainless steel and/or aluminum
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. alone occasionally to frequently, and up to 100 lbs. with assistance occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending
• Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks
• Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools
• Ability to follow directions, work independently and close attention to detail
• Requires PPE to include safety glasses, safety-toe shoes, ear protection, cut resistant sleeves, and any other PPE required by the position
• Ability to work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product
