Requirements

• Engineering or science degree, or equivalent experience following an apprenticeship
• Minimum 7 years within the engineering or manufacturing industries
• A sound understanding of electrical systems
• Able to work with circuit diagrams
• Proficient user of LabVIEW, MS Office, specifically Word and Excel
• Understanding of digital and analogue hardware and is able to debug equipment using laboratory instruments (DMM, Oscilloscope, etc.)
• Electrical test hardware design experience
• An understanding of requirements management, configuration management, and health & safety requirements applicable to office and laboratory environments
• A keen eye for detail
• Pro-active, able to use their own initiative
• Good verbal and written communications
• Collaborates well in a team environment
• A willingness to mentor less experienced engineers
• An appetite to learn
