Eaton's Mobility Group is separating into an independent company, and this Sourcing Lead position will be part of the new organization. The role involves developing and implementing sourcing strategy for the Mobility business in India, focusing on cost reduction, supplier management, and quality control.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering
- 6-8 years of experience in sourcing, supplier development & procurement in an engineering company, preferably in Auto Component
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in product costing and formulating commercial contracts
- Good understanding of commodities such as mechanical and electrical assemblies, automotive hydraulic and pneumatic parts, wiring harness, and others
- Knowledge of quality systems, project management, and vendor development/quality check methodology
- Excellent communication skills in English and relationship-building skills with suppliers and customers
