Job Description
Edgestream Partners is seeking a Trading Desk Engineer to join their trading operations team. This role focuses on monitoring, supporting, and improving live trading systems, automating processes, and resolving production issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software, data, and analytics, and a passion for innovation.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in computer science, math, financial engineering, or related.
- 2–6 years of hands-on trading support, trade desk technology, or electronic trading operations.
- Proven ability to debug live systems under pressure.
- Market knowledge across equities, futures, FX, or derivatives.
- Strong coding (Python preferred), plus UNIX/Linux, SQL, FIX protocol.
