Job Description
The LEAP Facilitator at Lehigh County Jail provides inmates with job readiness skills to increase their chances of securing employment upon release. This role involves curriculum delivery, counseling, and coordination with community partners to reduce recidivism and support successful employment placement. The position requires collaboration with jail staff and PA CareerLink®.
Requirements
- Partner with jail staff to recruit, inform, educate, and enroll inmates into the LEAP Project.
- Deliver job readiness and employability skills instruction using JOBTECH curriculum.
- Administer and interpret assessments to participants.
- Maintain current knowledge about instructional strategies, assessments and labor market information.
- Coordinate regular on-site, education and training activities.
- Maintain participant tracking and files.
