Job Description
Egnyte is seeking a Principal Applied Data Scientist to drive innovation in AI initiatives, specifically with GenAI and NLP solutions. This role involves defining technical strategy, developing predictive models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide actionable business solutions at scale. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, mentor, and contributor in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in data science
- Proficiency in Python with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Experience with Python web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django)
- Experience with NLP/AI pipeline deployment
- Experience with LLMs in production
- Strong understanding of ML lifecycle and MLOps
- Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Problem-solving and communication skills
