Assist in the examination and treatment of patients, supervise R.N.s, L.V.N.s, and other clinical staff, and provide education on preventative care.
Requirements
- Meet with patients to assist in performing routine tests
- Identify health status and report to physician
- Assist in epidemiological investigations
- Draw blood, administer medications, and vaccinations
- Provide education on preventative care and family planning
- Supervise and train aides and volunteers
- Keep current and accurate records
- Interact professionally with patients and their representatives
- Respond to medical emergencies
