Sous Chef

Eldorado Resort, located on the shores of Okanagan Lake, offers world-class amenities and caters to a variety of guests. The Sous Chef will manage all aspects of food preparation, supporting the Chef de Cuisine, ensuring quality and consistent service, and leading a team. The role involves daily operations, menu development, and achieving exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role in a fast-paced, fine dining environment
• Strong leadership, organization, and relationship skills
• In-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations
• Experience with training, basic financial management, and customer service
• Excellent technical knowledge of contemporary cooking styles and ingredients
• Ability to produce a consistent product in a timely manner and in a high-pressure environment
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
