Job Description
EPE is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager with expertise in Interconnection or Transmission Planning for the Western Interconnect (WECC) region. The role involves providing subject matter expertise, supporting development of innovative tools, driving growth, and leading a team. EPE provides energy intelligence software solutions to clients, focusing on renewable energy. The position requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the electric energy industry.
- Experience in IBR modelling, transmission planning and/or interconnection studies and processes.
- Active participation and leadership in industry taskforces and/or working groups.
- Strong understanding of FERC, NERC and ISO interconnection requirements and standards.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one of PSLF, PowerWorld, PSSE, PSCAD, TARA, or ASPEN.
