Machinist (fixed-term)

Element has an opportunity for an Entry-Level Machinist (3 months) to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the Operations team, this role performs a variety of routine and non-routine machining assignments within the assigned department.

Requirements

• Operate cutting and machining equipment to prepare specimens for testing in accordance with customer specifications
• Set up and perform basic machining tasks following established instructions and requirements
• Accurately gather, measure, and record specimen dimensions in compliance with quality assurance standards
• Assist with equipment care, maintenance, and scheduled preventative maintenance activities
• Follow laboratory and machine shop safety protocols at all times
• Apply technical machining knowledge to meet customer expectations under supervision
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
