Modernization Apprentice

Assist in complete modernizations and repairs for hydraulic and traction elevators, and perform annual tests to ensure proper operation of safety devices.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Elevator Technician degree or Elevator Mechanic License, preferred
• Knowledge and skill in the use of hand and electrical tools
• Knowledge and skill in the use of electrical reading and testing equipment
• Ability to work in dusty and dirty places, and work safely in close proximity to moving and working equipment
