Machinist

Our organization is seeking a skilled Machinist to fabricate, install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and components of ships and submarines. Expertise in machine tools, precision instruments, and technical drawings is required. The role involves diagnosing malfunctions, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Requirements

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and written specifications.
• Set up and operate machine tools.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in engines, pumps, valves, and other systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vessel machinery.
• Install, align, and secure components.
• Perform pipefitting, welding, and metal fabrication tasks.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
