Job Description
Ellison Institute of Technology is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to support their pathogen metagenomics system development. This role focuses on profiling and analyzing data within the data platform, ensuring accuracy and reliability of the data resource for the science teams. The analyst will collaborate with the data acquisition team and partner managers to improve data quality processes and share insights on quality improvements.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of genomic data and the biological significance of quality metrics.
- Experience with pathogen sample metadata including MIC values and Antimicrobial Susceptibility.
- Experience with data analysis methods and tools, including statistical analysis and SQL querying for structured data.
- Ability to build and support analytical dashboards.
- Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Oracle OCI experience, data quality tooling/profiling, familiarity with data governance standards (OMOP, SNOMED), design of analytical reports.
