Job Description
We're seeking a motivated Genomics Scientist to join our Genome Technologies Laboratory within the Pathogen Program. This innovation hub develops and validates cutting-edge sequencing protocols for pathogen isolates using short- and long-read platforms (Illumina, Oxford Nanopore, PacBio).
Requirements
- PhD in Genomics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or equivalent experience
- Strong hands-on experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a methodical and creative approach to laboratory challenges
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities within interdisciplinary research environments
