Heavy Equipment Operator

Ellwood Aluminum is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and be detail-oriented and self-motivated. The role involves operating heavy mobile equipment, maintaining the furnace and scrap storage areas, and monitoring and controlling the melting furnace and its associated systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physical fitness and background clearance
• Flexible shift availability
• Heavy equipment experience (preferred)
• Forklift certification
