Emergence has provided treatment for substance use disorder in Lane County since 1981. We serve people who meet criteria for Level 1 Outpatient or Level 2.1 Intensive Outpatient, and provide treatment to people who need residential while they work their way through the waiting list.
Job Description
Emergence is seeking a Relief Counselor to provide support to our dedicated team of counselors. As a relief counselor, you will facilitate group therapy and help people along their journey to recovery.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CADC-R, or ability to be credentialed as CADC-R by MHACBO
- One year of experience in social services or behavioral health
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (including cannabis)
