Job Description
The Supplier Performance Engineer will ensure supplier performance meets/exceeds expectations through the entire lifecycle of the relationship. The role involves leading supplier development efforts, driving supplier improvement projects, and defining and measuring performance through supplier scorecards.
Requirements
- Strong Organizational and Analytical Skills
- Excellent Negotiations Skills
- Ability to comprehend and interpret engineering drawings, quality systems requirements and customer specifications
- Ability to understand component requirements and communicate requirements to suppliers
- Solid understanding on MRP (Oracle) and MS Office software like MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to lead change and alignment on new concepts and approaches through persistence, self-motivation, follow-through, and commitment
- Proven communication and teamwork skills enabling effective working relationships
