Trade Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with technical, legal and regulatory requirements associated with the company's cross-border movement of goods and services. The role involves supporting Emerson Global Trade Compliance efforts, performing legislative and regulatory impact analysis, and ensuring compliance with all applicable import and export regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in international Trade, Business Administration, Law, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance, customs brokerage, international logistics or similar field
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle) and trade management software
- Knowledge of the EAR, CBP and FTSR Regulations
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Self-motivated and possess ability to handle multiple tasks
- Understanding of Logistics/Global Supply Chain practices and concepts
- Knowledge of Fisher products
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Skills required, (MS Access preferred)
- Certifications such as CCS, CES, or CUSECO
