Job Description
Emerus, a leading small-format hospital in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Full-Time CT/Radiology Technologist to perform technical imaging procedures, including CT and X-rays, to assist physicians and other medical staff. The role requires operating and maintaining imaging equipment, performing clinical and laboratory testing, and maintaining detailed records. This position is not covered by Continuous Supervision.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED, required
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, required
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state
- CT certification, preferred
- CT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography required
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography, preferred
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association, required
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer’s hardware/software and PACS
- Fluent in English, written and oral communication
