Job Description
Emerus is seeking a Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist to provide technical assistance and patient care to patients throughout assigned areas. The role involves performing laboratory specimen collection and analysis, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with clinical departments. This is a PRN position (7am-7pm, 20 bed hospital) offering 401K matches and a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- Collect and process laboratory specimens using protocols
- Perform quality control and maintain instruments
- Follow safety practices, including biohazards and infection control
- Coordinate and perform pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic laboratory activities
- Assist with patient safety and other activities
- Maintain patient privacy
