Job Description
Emerus is seeking a Patient Access Specialist/Front Desk to serve as a liaison between patients, payers, patient financial services, and the healthcare team. The role involves patient tracking, billing verification, and ensuring proper patient identification and safety. It is a PRN, 7A-7P shift position in a small-format hospital.
Requirements
- Maintain compliance with EMTALA, DNV, HIPAA regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Verify insurance benefits for patient accounts.
- Maintain accurate patient and financial records.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (Pennsylvania).
