Job Description
This Permanent, Non-Registered Nurse Position (PRN Nights) at Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals, requires providing advanced patient care in a busy hospital setting. The role focuses on direct and indirect patient care, collaboration with the nursing staff, and adherence to hospital standards of care. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to perform tasks both independently and with support.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Certified Nursing Assistant, preferred
- Current BLS certification, required
- 2 years of work experience in an acute care hospital as a Nursing Assistant or currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program, required
- Basic knowledge of PPE protocols and universal precautions
- Fluency in English
- Ability to perform duties requiring prolonged standing, walking, stooping, bending, and lifting
- Ability to perform duties with increased responsibilities
