Job Description
As a Senior Mechatronics Engineer, you will take end-to-end ownership of major revisions to our products, working across mechanical, electronics, and embedded firmware with a high degree of independence.
Requirements
- Lead design, integration, and validation of electronics, firmware, and mechanical assemblies
- Produce clear, well-tested code and PCB layouts that others can extend
- Consider DFM, DFA, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout development
- Create and run verification test plans, analyse data and confirm requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in standards, tooling, and automation
- Translate product requirements into concrete technical specs, tasks, and schedules
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and FMEAs, mitigating issues early
- Mentor engineers in best practices and foster knowledge sharing
- Partner with production, supply chain, and quality to streamline NPI and control cost
- Report progress through Jira boards, stand-ups, and concise stakeholder updates
