General Superintendent - Fire

The General Superintendent - Fire is responsible for monitoring and assisting in the effective implementation of EGA's corporate Fire control/protection strategic plans, policies, and programs across assigned plant operations.

Requirements

• Implements approved departmental policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls
• Supervises the implementation of day-to-day operations assigned for the Fire department
• Investigates and reports Fire incidents in a timely and correct manner
• Plans and conducts Fire training courses to promote Fire awareness and reduce incidents
• Coordinates maintenance and testing of Fire protection systems
• Develops and initiates routine evaluations of the workplace for Fire precautions
• Complies with safety, quality, and environmental management policies and procedures
• Supervises the activities and work of subordinates
