Job Description
Data Engineer role at ENGIE GLOBAL MARKETS, BELGIAN BRANCH, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data availability and quality, and optimizing data processing systems.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Proficiency in big data frameworks such as Spark and Databricks
- Experience with data pipeline tools and ETL processes
- Good knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
- DevOps, infra as code, continuous integration and delivery concepts
- Agile methodology
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with data scientists and other team members
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
