Job Description
ENGIE Italia is seeking a Market Risk Analyst to join its S&EM Italy team in Rome. The successful candidate will work in Market Risk and Middle Office team to ensure that trading and portfolio activities are in line with S&EM Risk Policy. The role involves preparing daily, weekly, and monthly P&L and market risk reporting, analyzing desk portfolio risks, and monitoring and challenging hedging strategies.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or Statistics
- At least three-year experience in Market Risk role or Trading role for energy companies
- Fluent English oral and written; Italian is a plus
- Digital orientation with advanced use of Phyton, Power BI, VBA, and Excel
- Skills in quantitative analysis
- Good knowledge of financial products used for energy markets
- Understanding of risk methodologies for the calculation of physical and financial exposures
