Job Description
As a Power Plant Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for executing inspections, preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance on our combined Heating and Power plant’s (CHP) mechanical equipment. You will use your mechanical troubleshooting skills, on boilers, and auxiliary plant equipment performing pump alignments and other precision work.
Requirements
- Assist others as necessary to maintain reliable and safe plant operation
- Read and understand mechanical and electrical prints
- Read process and identify drawings of plant equipment and distribution systems
- Complete tasks that may include but are not limited to mechanical alignment, lubrication, inspection and vibration monitoring
- Coordinate with the activities of other operations or trade personnel in relations to safe plant operations, maintenance, and reliability
