Manufacturing Engineer

The manufacturing engineer is a key member of the ETE engineering group, responsible for improving and expanding production systems, improving key metrics, and collaborating with engineering and operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, chemical, or manufacturing preferred)
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment
• Superior communication and organizational skills
• Background working on the shop floor with operations staff to assist in solving issues
• Understanding of operational theory of automatic transmissions
• Experience with assembly of complex hydraulic/mechanical assemblies
• Proven experience in tracking and understanding manufacturing operations and implementing solutions to drive continuous improvement
• Functional in AutoCAD, Solidworks, Excel, Power-point, and other related programs
• Mechanical troubleshooting abilities
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Organizational, analytical, and planning skills with the ability to multi-task
• Flexibility regarding priority changes
• Fluency in speaking, reading and writing English
• Ability to speak Spanish is preferred
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedures and/or safety manuals
• Self-starter with ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
