As a skilled Maintenance Welder, you will repair parts and cases at ETE's facilities, operate equipment, and restore mechanical structures with precision. Your job is essential to the company's strong infrastructure and finished products.
Requirements
- Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
- Set up components for welding according to specifications
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions
- Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
- Suggest improvements, help train new personnel, communicate all issues, work overtime when needed
- Follow directions from team leads, supervisors and managers, be proactive and helpful
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily
- Adhere to all safety rules, have great attendance and give it your all every day
