Job Description
Ensono is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer to provide premium support and services to their clients. The role involves mainframe zOS system administration, tuning, and troubleshooting, as well as customer support, migration assistance, and collaboration with other teams. The ideal candidate will be independent, responsible, and possess strong analytical skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of professional experience in zOS systems programming support
- Strong understanding of mainframe operating system principles
- Experience building new zOS environments
- Experience with configuring and managing zOS in parallel sysplex environments
- Understanding of JES2/JES3 Architecture & components and customization
- Experience with different system monitoring software
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
