Senior QA Engineer (Shift-Left)

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will bring advanced expertise in software testing, strategic problem-solving, and strong leadership. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping quality practices across the business, setting the standard within your pod, and ensuring our customers enjoy seamless, memorable experiences.

Requirements

• Champion quality from the start by embedding testing practices early in the development cycle and coaching teams to “own” quality.
• Lead the design and execution of robust testing strategies across web, mobile, and API layers — ensuring coverage from unit to end-to-end.
• Build and evolve automation frameworks that accelerate feedback, detect defects earlier, and enhance CI/CD performance.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to define acceptance criteria, refine user stories, and ensure every release meets the highest standards.
• Apply advanced problem-solving to identify risks, analyse failures, and drive continuous improvement in testing methods and tooling.
• Take ownership of complex quality initiatives, balancing thoroughness with speed to deliver reliable, high-performing customer experiences.
• Mentor and guide team members, uplifting QA capability and fostering a culture of shared responsibility for quality.
• Lead initiatives that strengthen QA processes, reporting, and visibility — making quality measurable and central to how Entain delivers software.
