Job Description
Certified Peer Recovery Specialist 1 - Provides peer-based support to individuals navigating substance use, mental health, or co-occurring challenges. Must have personal lived experience with recovery from substance use and/or mental health challenges.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Maryland Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) credential
- Must have personal lived experience with recovery from substance use and/or mental health challenges
- Minimum 1 year of sustained recovery strongly preferred
