Job Description
The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist uses their lived experience in recovery to provide support, mentorship, and hope to individuals navigating substance use, mental health, or co-occurring challenges.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must possess a valid Maryland Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) credential
- Must have personal lived experience with recovery from substance use and/or mental health challenges
- Minimum 1 year of sustained recovery strongly preferred
