Senior Accountant

Ocean Capital Holdings Limited is a privately held company with interests in broadcasting, real estate, construction, and service. The company is seeking a Senior Accountant to provide financial reporting, daily accounting functions, cash management, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation
• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience post CPA completion
• Degree in Business Administration
• Experience with consolidated financial statements and US GAAP
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with mid-market to top tier ERP system
• Experience in applying foreign currency translation methods and managing exchange rate impacts in financial reporting and consolidations
• Strong presentation skills
• Proven experience collaborating with and presenting to senior leadership
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Industry experience considered an asset
• Managerial or supervisory experience considered an asset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Reliable self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity
