Shift lead

Harsco Corporation is seeking a Shift Lead to plan daily production schedules, manage resources, and ensure quality standards for their steel and metals industry operations.

Requirements

• Plan daily production schedule for slag and scrap handling and processing
• Implement and control production schedule
• Determine material resources required
• Manage human and material resources to meet production targets
• Make decisions about equipment use, availability, and utilization
• Coordinate with Maintenance department to optimize resource availability
• Coordinate with Customer on daily basis
• Plan team to operate efficiently in all three shifts
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for production operations
• Ensure standard operating procedures are adhered to
• Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
• Monitor quality standards of products
• Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
• Uphold all ISO, GBP, and OSHA standards applicable to responsibilities
