Environment Bank is seeking an Assistant Geospatial Analyst to support their mission by ensuring high-quality and accurate spatial data. The role involves creating figures, maps, and web apps to communicate geospatial data and information effectively to stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
- Degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Up to 1 year of experience in the GIS sector or equivalent transferable experience
- Passion for biodiversity restoration, ecology, and the environment
- Strong team player with a proactive problem-solving attitude
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro software and its extensions
- Understanding of data management principles and quality assurance/control
- Interest in or experience with scripting and process automation tools (e.g., ArcGIS Model Builder, ArcPy, etc.)
- Ability to work both independently and as a valuable contributor to a remote geospatial analytic team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
