Job Description
The Health and Safety Associate will lead the establishment and execution of industrial hygiene, safety, and emergency planning programs, reviewing corporate standards, assessing risks, and developing strategies to manage risks. They will also develop site-specific plans, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with regulations. This role focuses on fostering a safety culture and providing leadership in the operational domain.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, industrial hygiene, safety, engineering or equivalent work experience
- Expert understanding of OSHA regulations
- Experience in FMCSA – DOT plus Hazardous Materials Regulations
- Experience in Environmental, Health, Safety, and Transportation
- Experience in implementing a variety of occupational health and safety programs
- Ability to conduct investigations and evaluations
- Experience working with DISA, ISNetworld, and Avetta
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of process industry, field safety, or industrial cleaning related work experience
