Job Description
ESA, a 100% employee-owned environmental consulting firm, is seeking a highly motivated Field Hydrologist to join their team in Northern California. The role involves fieldwork, data collection, analysis, and project support for various water resource and environmental engineering projects. They are looking for someone passionate about ecosystem restoration and eager to learn and grow within a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Proficient working knowledge of MATLAB or Python preferred.
- Prior professional experience with topo-bathymetric surveys (Hypack) OR continuous monitoring networks.
- Experience with ArcGIS
- Experience with QA/QC of scientific datasets
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Comfort working outdoors, in remote settings, and in urban environments
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
