Ormco Sr. Manufacturing Process Engineer, Injection Molding (On-Site Pomona, CA)

The Sr. Manufacturing Process Engineer, Injection Molding is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in injection molding, process engineering, and cross-functional leadership. They will possess deep technical expertise in injection molding principles, material science, mold design and process optimization. This role requires strategic oversight of manufacturing initiatives, mentorship of junior engineers, and a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year university in engineering or related field
• 5+ years' experience in manufacturing or mechanical engineering in a medical devices industry
• Proficiency in design for manufacturability (DFM) principles for injection molded parts
• English/Spanish bilingual
• Experience in injection molding processes
• Extensive experience using SolidWorks for mechanical design and 3D modeling
• Experience with Metal Injection Molding processes in medical device/dental manufacturing
• Experience with simulation software (e.g., Moldflow, SolidWorks Plastics)
• Familiarity with automation and robotics in injection molding
