Mechanical Technician

The Mechanical Technician role at Enviva is responsible for ensuring proper preventive maintenance of critical and auxiliary machinery associated with 24/7 pellet manufacturing. The position involves assembling, cutting, threading, and laying pipes, performing diagnosis and repairs, and maintaining equipment in good condition.

Requirements

• Ability to work safely obeying OSHA and Enviva standards for practices
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders and provide own basic tools
• Experience in preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, servicing mobile/heavy equipment
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in hydraulics, lubrication, and mechanical equipment; basic understanding of types of lubricants and application of each
• Ability to analyze process flow to identify issues
