Audio Visual Sales Support Engineer

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Sales Design Engineer to support customers with AV projects. The role involves providing technical guidance to the sales force, producing technical documentation, and ensuring successful implementation of projects. This position requires travel to client sites and a strong understanding of the audio-visual industry. The ideal candidate will be a technical consultant and support post-sales teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years Design experience working with the AV Industry
• Degree level qualified in a formal technical discipline or 8+ years professional AV industry experience in implementation and / or system support
• Knowledge of design implementation, Installation or Service Experience of key technologies such as Control (Crestron, AMX, Extron) and Audio (BIAMP, QSC, POLYCOM)
• Knowledge of the following is expected for success in the role: Audio systems design including conferencing audio, digital sound systems, public address, event spaces.
• Video systems, large format displays, projection, video wall image processing.
• Control systems touchscreen controls, automation, and smart building technology.
• Video conference systems, integration techniques and deployment.
• Audio visual system infrastructure design and planning.
• Full driving license that will enable you to meet any driving requirements
• Excellent communication skills, and be confident when dealing with demanding clients
