We are looking for an R&D Engineer to support our R&D Metals Team. The role involves developing and optimizing laser-based processes for metallic materials using modeling, simulation, and experimental testing.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in materials science, physics, metallurgy, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field of study
- Practical experience with engineering software tools (e.g., CFD, FEA) and programming skills (e.g., Python)
- R&D mindset with the will to learn, develop and improve work practices and tools
- Experience and knowledge in the field of digital manufacturing processes or additive manufacturing technologies
- Self-organization skills and an analytical and goal-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication skills and a confident and service-oriented manner, both internally and toward customers
