Job Description
Epiroc is seeking a motivated Quality Control Intern to support a key improvement initiative within the warehouse. The intern will gain hands-on experience in quality control, statistical analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, ideally for students entering the field. This role reports in-person to Epiroc's Allen, TX location and focuses on enhancing accuracy of scale-based part counting.
Requirements
- Measure and record weights of diverse part types
- Conduct statistical analysis to determine optimal sample sizes
- Analyze weight variability across samples
- Collaborate with Logistics and Storage teams
- Document methodologies and contribute to standardized processes
- Participate in cross-functional meetings
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree
