Job Description
Episcopal SeniorLife Communities is seeking a Part-Time Food Service Waitstaff to work Monday through Friday from 11 am to 2 pm, on-site. The role involves providing high-quality table service, maintaining sanitation, and assisting with resident needs. This position offers experience in the nursing home setting and requires adherence to ethical guidelines.
Requirements
- Must possess high school diploma or equivalent
- Six months’ food service experience preferred
- Knowledge of NYS DOH regulations on food operations and sanitation
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to represent the Episcopal Church Home and interact effectively with vendors
- Ability to interact courteously and tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and the general public
- Physical requirements: prolonged standing and routine walking, ability to lift 30 lbs occasionally, ability to lift 25 lbs sometimes, and ability to sit, talk, and hear
